Winter in 2010 was a pattern of a lot of rain storms and snow storms. These pictures were taken from my front door. A creek runs through the area that is flooded. It is a small creek and has a lot of twists in this section of the creek. Heavy rains flooded the field.

Later on in the evening, once the rain stopped, I took some more pictures. The creek rose even higher.

A couple of days before the flood (in the previous pictures), the farmer who uses the field across the street spread manure. The rain must have attracted the vultures, because this became a daily occurrence for about a week. I took these picture through the front bedroom window closest to the breezeway because everytime I took the camera outside I'd end up chasing them away.
